Let Me Not

1h 40m Romance, Drama 2007

‘Let Me Not’ is a love story about a late twenties architect (Alex) who falls for a sixteen year old ballet student (Nina) while designing the theatre renovations at her school.

This already problematic age-gap relationship is complicated by the fact that Nina has recently taken a weekend job at a strip club. Keeping her part-time job a secret, she tells Alex, family and friends that she’s working in a restaurant, but Alex and his best mate have seen Nina at the club. Alex decides not to call Nina on the true nature of her weekend work. But most importantly, as Alex comes to know Nina, he becomes both more understanding and more confused about why she is doing what she does.
